GIST: A relatively brief, illustrated tutorial on how to properly hit the dead wedge — a shot that pops up high, goes a very short distance, and stops pretty much where it lands. Really cool if you can pull it off!
MY TAKE: I needed this shot the last time I played! I was facing a very similar situation to the one described in this tutorial; instead of trying a dead wedge, I opted to try to bounce it off the skirt and let the ball trickle towards the hole. Dang thing stayed on the fringe. Looks like the dead wedge isn’t the only thing I need to practice. [GO]
