Teego Personal Edition

The Teego Personal Edition is an automated ball tee-er and dispenser — a portable and affordable one. Just tap the Teego with your club (probably no need to bend over much to do this), and an arm swings down to place a ball on your tee, mat, the grass… pretty much anywhere you want to hit from (with a flat area in front for the Teego, of course).
I’m conflicted about this. On one hand, with the proliferation of golf carts and teachers hounding us to “swing easy,” there’s precious little strenuous “physical” left in golf. Barring physical limitations, ailments, and disabilities, I mean how much lazier can we get? Is there any sloth plateau we golfers aren’t too embarrassed to climb? (I mean ride up to; climbing’s too hard.)
On the other hand, I do see how the Teego can be a blessing when trying to learn, practice and groove a swing — no need to break up my stance or setup and get out of position (yet again) just to tee up balls. Never mind that this is how I do it out on the course anyway, since I find it more comfortable to not walk around in a permanent “ready to swing” crouch. Maybe that repetitious pre-shot prep routine on the range is actually helpful practice as well…
Uh, on second though, I think I’ll pass. [GO]
