Three Words for Great Greenside Bunker Play

GIST: When hitting from greenside bunkers, focus on adjusting just three simple factors — face, base and pace (how much to open your club face and body, and swing speed) — to help you with your distance and trajectory control.
MY TAKE: Someday, someone will need to explain how a single task that involves at least three variable factors can possibly be considered simple. And maybe even analyze why we insist on trying these tips for the first time, not to mention hope they’ll work, while right smack in the thick of playing an actual round. Very good pointers, but no magic pills in this bunch. To minimize injury or death, best fiddle around with these and determine how they affect your shots while practicing, not when a $5 Nassau’s on the line. [GO]
