Practicing a Downward Angle of Attack

You’ve probably heard that for better, more consistent chips and pitches, your stroke should have a more downward angle of attack.
You should be hitting down, in other words. Fortunately, this is easy to practice.
Just stick a tee an inch or two behind the ball. Then swing away as usual. The goal, of course, is to avoid hitting the tee; this’ll force you to develop a downward angled stroke.
